Maciej Tybura the new president of CIECH

On July 22, 2015, the CIECH S.A. Supervisory Council recalled Dariusz Krawczyk from the position of president of the board of the company and in his place appointed Maciej Tybura, who had served as a member of the board since October 2014.   

Dariusz Krawczyk became president of the CIECH board in May 2012. His main task was to begin restructuring and improvement of the effectiveness of the whole group.

Maciej Tybura has been associated with CIECH since July 2014, first as a member of the Supervisory Council, and since November 2014 as a member of the board. Maciej Tybura is an experienced manager who has served in managerial functions in the largest Polish companies. In the years 2008–2012, he was the vice president of KGHM Polish Copper. Member of numerous Supervisory Councils: PCC Exol, KGHM International, Telefonia Dialog, Pol-Miedź Trans, Walcownia Metali Nieżelaznych [Non-ferrous Metal Rolling Mill]. He serves in the function of Chairman of the Supervisory Councils of KGHM TFI and PHP Mercus and also sits on the Supervisory Council of Tauron Group.

Maciej Tybura is a graduate of the Faculty of Management of the Poznań University of Economics. In 1999–2001, he completed MBA studies at the Wrocław University of Economics. In 2000–2001, he completed graduate studies at the University of Business in Wrocław.
