The CIECH Group will take care of the health of its employees with its new “ZdrowiejMY” wellbeing programme

Special “Health Zones”, organised as part of employee picnics, free consultations with physiotherapists and physicians of selected specialisations, as well as the possibility of taking advantage of the services of qualified medical personnel in cardiobuses or mobile offices with ultrasound diagnostics in the companies of the CIECH Group – these are just some of the proposals offered to employees within the framework of the new “ZdrowiejMY” programme. It aims at developing good habits in terms of caring for physical and mental health. This original initiative is also one of the elements of the implementation of the long-term strategy of CIECH, which assumes, among others, building a modern and innovative organisation, which is a friendly and attractive place to work.

The “ZdrowiejMY” programme was developed with over 2.5 thousand employees of the CIECH Group in mind. It was based on a number of initiatives related to movement and physical activity, health prevention and psychoeducation. It is yet next step in the development of the pro-health policy within the Group. The initiative is an original project authored by Beata Szymańska and Dobrochna Wiatr of CIECH’s Internal Communication Team.

The project was inaugurated during “CIECH Fest”, the annual summer employee picnics. Their participants had the opportunity to benefit from comprehensive consultations with specialists in ophthalmology, dietetics and physiotherapy. In the coming months, the Group's employees will also be able to benefit from the services of qualified medical personnel in the so-called cardiobuses and mobile offices with ultrasound diagnostics, which - as part of the campaign - will be arriving at the premises of the Group's companies. Another element of the programme will be comprehensive support from physiotherapists as part of their regular duty.

However, the “ZdrowiejMY” programme is not only pro-health prevention. A significant part of it also includes the promotion of physical activity, as part of which employees had, among others, an opportunity to obtain funding for the proposed ideas for joint sports initiatives, some of which have already been successfully implemented, while supporting the employee integration. The programme is also implemented by promoting healthy eating or organising a series of psychoeducational webinars. According to the assumptions adopted by the project initiators, the “ZdrowiejMY” programme is to positively affect the level of satisfaction and wellbeing of the employees of the organisation.

- We want to develop our Companies based on the wellbeing of their employees, while building a culture of the wellbeing of our community. To achieve this, we listened carefully to the needs of our employees. We believe that activation programmes, such as “ZdrowiejMY”, developed within the CIECH Group, visibly contribute to the improvement of employees' productivity and to their satisfaction with the workplace. They are also an important factor in the employer selection process - says  Agnieszka Jaraczewska, Director of the HR and Internal Communication Department in the CIECH Group.

Activities within the framework of the “ZdrowiejMY” project are one of the elements of the CIECH Group's Strategy for 2022-2024, implemented under the slogan “We build future-proof and modern chemical holding, that generates value for its stakeholders.” As part of this strategy, the priority of the HR area is to strengthen positive changes in the organisational culture of the Group, and to build an engaging work environment in order to improve the attractiveness of CIECH as an employer.
