CIECH R&D Sp. z o.o. implements the project “Optimization of the production of soda and soda-derived products through the use of concentrated CO2 waste streams together with the carbon dioxide chemisorption process in postdistillation suspension in order to improve the properties of post-soda lime”. The project is co-financed under the Operational Programme Smart Growth 2014-2020, Measure 1.2 Sectoral R&D Programmes.

Aim of the project: Development of an innovative technologies of optimization of the production of soda and soda-derived products.

Planned effects: Development of process innovation related to the optimization of soda and sodium products production through the use of CO2 waste streams, densification by ammonia or amine method and recycling to the production process as well as the use for carbonation of post-distillation sludge from the calcinated soda production.
