The project of CIECH SA – Corporate Mentoring Academy was implemented under the co-financing agreement between the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and CIECH SA under Measure 2.1.1 Development of human capital in enterprises of the Human Capital Operational Programme.

The aim of the training and consulting project was to create a group of educated corporate mentors in the years 2009-2011. These are the people who develop and foster unique competences through acquiring knowledge and skills within the scope of mentoring methods, techniques and tools and the ability to share knowledge and experience with others and knowledge within the scope of corporate, team and individual studying - both in theory and in practice. The training was designed for employees of 7 companies from the CIECH Chemical Group. Moreover, the project included a training and consulting module addressed at senior management within the scope of age management in the Group and drafting a plan of implementing age management in the Group. Within the whole enterprise, 7 training and counselling modules were organised for 40 key employees in the Group and 1 training and counselling module for 28 executive officers in the Group (i.e., in the management boards of CIECH SA and companies of the Group and the key directors). As a consequence of the Corporate Mentoring Academy project, the Group gained 40 qualified mentors prepared to share their knowledge of strategic importance to others and senior management which is prepared to implement the age management strategy in the CIECH Chemical Group.
