The Project Establishment of a system for channelling and isolating fly-ash is co-financed under Measure 4.6 Support for enterprises conducting business activity involving recycling and treatment of waste other than municipal waste of the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Programme.

Soda Polska CIECH SA holds 28,66% of shares in Zakład Gospodarki Popiołami, operating business activity within the scope of isolating fly-ash, constituting waste from the Soda Polska CIECH SA soda plant heat and power plant.

The project is co-financed under the co-financing agreement between Zakład Gospodarki Popiołami and the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.

Zakład Gospodarki Popiołami was founded in October 2010.

The project has a significant environmental effect which consists in the recovery of materials as a result of the isolation of fly-ash used in the production process by other business entities. It therefore contributes to the implementation of Measure 4.6 of the Infrastructure and Environment, whose objective is to increase of the proportion of waste other than municipal which is subject to recycling and treatment.
