The jury of the 17th edition of the prestigious competition “The Best Annual Report” recognised the report of CIECH S.A. for 2021 as the best in the “Enterprises” category. The Institute of Accountancy and Taxes promotes annual reports, prepared by companies listed on the Stock Exchange, with the highest utility value for investors and shareholders. This year's award is the seventh recognition for CIECH S.A. in the history of this prestigious competition.

The results of the “The Best Annual Report” competition were announced on 13 October during a gala in the Trading Room of the Warsaw Stock Exchange building, which is the strategic partner of the event. CIECH was awarded for the highest level of prepared consolidated annual financial statements according to the IFRS/IAS guidelines (International Financial Reporting Standards or International Accounting Standards). 

- This year's first prize and distinctions in recent years confirm the very strong position of CIECH as a company invariably characterised by professionalism, credibility and transparency among companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. It is also a reflection of the enormous work and commitment of people whose efforts make it possible for CIECH to receive awards for the preparation of financial statements almost every year. Katarzyna Rybacka's team, in particular Dominika Wodecka and Marta Dubicka-Kuptel, Hanna Brodecka and Tomasz Rusinek, deserved the highest praise – says Jarosław Romanowski, Member of the Management Board of CIECH S.A.

For years, financial statements of CIECH S.A. have been gaining recognition from the jury in this prestigious competition. In recent years, the company received: the award for the best report on operations (the 2017 edition), the third main prize (the 2018 edition) and twice the distinction of the monthly “Rachunkowość” for the greatest progress in improving the quality of financial statements (in the 2019 and the 2020 editions). Companies from the regulated market, preparing consolidated annual reports compliant with IFRS/IAS guidelines, and companies from the alternative market, reporting according to IFRS/IAS or the Accounting Act, compete for the award “The Best Annual Report”. 

CIECH S.A. has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2005. As of 2016, as part of the dual listing system, quotations also take place on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
