CIECH will be the first Polish company listed at the Warsaw and Frankfurt stock exchanges at the same time.

The Management Board of CIECH S.A. (CIECH) has taken a decision today, i.e. 10 August 2016, on submission of an application for admission and introduction of the CIECH shares at the Stock Exchange in Frankfurt as part of the so-called “dual listing” process. This means that after a relevant decision of the Stock Exchange, CIECH, as the first Polish company, will be listed at the same time on two floors - in Warsaw and at the Europe’s third largest stock exchange – Börse Frankfurt. At the same time, it will still remain under the full supervision of the Financial Supervision Commission and it will be fully subject to the Polish legislation, and all the shares will be still deposited in the Polish Depository of Securities.

The decision of the Management Board of the company is another step in the implementation of a strategy of expansion of the leading Polish chemical company in international markets.

    • This is another step on the way to implementation of a strategy of expansion of the leading Polish chemical company in international markets;
    • CIECH will be listed on the same floor as the largest European chemical companies, such as BASF and K+S, and will be subject to the same criteria of evaluation of the implementation of a strategy by international experts and analysts;
    • The purpose of “dual listing” is to develop the investors base and focus on dynamic development and long-term building of the market value of the company for all shareholders.

          The admission of the CIECH shares to listing in the General Standard segment, being a sub-segment of the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange will also increase the recognition and reliability of the company among its business partners and global financial institutions. At the same time, it will give investors greater freedom in making transactions, it will increase a possibility of diversification of their portfolios, and will open up an opportunity for an increase in liquidity of trade in CIECH shares in the long term.

          The object of admission to trade in the regulated market in the General Standard segment being a sub-segment of the Stock Exchange in Frankfurt, will extend to all the 52,699,909 shares of CIECH.
