Today, the representatives of Warsaw University of Live Sciences (SGGW) and of Zakłady Chemiczne Organika Sarzyna SA have signed a mutual co-operation agreement. The parties have agreed that they will conduct joint scientific research, support didactic as well as scientific and research activity of SGGW, organize courses and development training, as well as student apprenticeship and stay.

"Production of crop protection chemicals is one of the most important pillars of the CIECH Group. Our strategy anticipates an intensive development of this area. We want our crop protection chemicals to respond even better to the demands of modern agriculture. I am glad that, thanks to the beginning of co-operation with such renowned institution as Warsaw University of Lice Sciences, we will be able to derive inspiration for implementation of innovative solutions in our production and support the development of science at the same time," said Dariusz Krawczyk, President of the Management Board of CIECH.

On behalf of SGGW, the agreement was signed by Deputy Rector for Science
prof. dr hab. Jan Niemiec and Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Biology, prof. nadzw. dr hab. Grażyna Garbaczewska.

Our units, in addition to being country's leaders, share their research areas. I hoe that thanks to the things we have in common, such as innovativeness and creativity, our co-operation will lead to our mutual success. Today's meeting is a proof that 200 years of agricultural education tradition in Poland, cherished by our Institution, is always up to date," said prof. dr hab. Jan Niemiec - Deputy Rector of Warsaw University of Live Sciences.

The direct partner of SGGW under the agreement is the leader of crop protection chemicals production in the Polish market - Zakłady Chemiczne Organika Sarzyna, a company from the CIECH Group. The company was represented by the President of the Management Board, Andrzej Kopeć.
