With reference to current report no. 30/2015 of 4 September 2015 and report no. 32/2015 of 2 October 2015, the Management Board of Ciech S.A., with a registered office in Warsaw ("the Issuer" or "the Company") hereby announces that it has received information from a direct subsidiary of the Issuer – CIECH Soda Romania S.A. in Romania ("CSR") that on 5 October 2015, at the Valcea County Tribunal in Romania, a motion was officially registered against CSR for revocation of resolution of the Shareholders' Meeting of 4 September 2015 regarding an increase in the share capital. The motion was submitted by a minority shareholder of CSR – the S.C. CET Govora S.A. company in Romania ("CET").
CSR considers the claims of CET to be totally groundless. Upon the official delivery of the motion, CSR intends to undertake legal actions aimed at dismissal thereof.
According to the Romanian law, the lodging of the motion does not suspend the procedure of registration of the above increase of the share capital.
